Good to know before you convert
- Each page of the PDF becomes one PNG image. A PDF with several pages gives you a ZIP file with the images numbered in order.
- PNG keeps text and lines perfectly sharp, which suits pages with writing, tables and diagrams. Files are larger than JPG.
Questions and answers
Can I choose the resolution of the PNG images?
Yes. Pick Normal for screens, High for slides or Print for about 300 dpi.
Is the text still selectable afterwards?
No. A PNG is a picture of the page, so text can no longer be selected or searched.
