A file in the wrong format is a small problem that can block a whole task: a website that only accepts JPG, a printer that wants TIFF, an iPhone photo that will not open on an older PC.
Add your files and Filetaki reads their type. You then choose the target format from a list that only contains conversions it can really do. When the target is JPG or WEBP you can set the quality; lower quality means a smaller file.
Right now the converter handles images and PDFs. Office documents, audio and video need more powerful processing and will be added later; Filetaki will not pretend to convert a file it cannot handle.

Which formats are supported?
Reading: JPG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC/HEIF, BMP, GIF, TIFF, ICO and PDF. Writing: JPG, PNG, WEBP, BMP, GIF, TIFF, ICO and PDF.
Can I convert Word, Excel or video files?
Not yet. Those conversions are planned. Today the converter covers images and PDFs.
Is there a size limit?
Files can be up to 1024 MB each. Very large images depend on the memory of your device.
What happens to transparent backgrounds?
PNG, WEBP, GIF, TIFF and ICO keep transparency. JPG, BMP and PDF cannot, so transparent areas become white.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Filetaki tools run inside your browser, so the file stays on your phone or computer. That is why it also works when your connection is slow.
Do I need a plan to download?
Yes. You can add files, choose options and see the result first. Downloading needs a plan: €0.60 for 3 days, then €39.95 every 4 weeks until you cancel. You can cancel at any time, including during the 3 days.
